Ed’s Fall Movie Mini-Preview
I can’t wait. You have no idea how badly I can’t wait. And how could you? It’s indescribable- a movie above all others is coming- one by which all others will be forever measured. At least all other Elvis/JKF team-up-monster-movie-comedy-horror-action flicks will. Believe me. Bubba Ho-Tep will hit theaters in September and you can bet your faded sequined jump-suit I’ll be there. It stars my all-time FAVORITE Bruce Campbell as Elvis- he’s apparently still alive and living in a rest home. He teams up with JFK (also alive- but he’s been turned black) as they fight off an ancient Egyptian mummy. Oh, please just TRY to think of something better that THAT, James Cameron! In tribute, I have been inspired to put together a partial list of other movies I can’t wait to see:
- Underworld- Werewolves vs vampires. Wicked-cool soundtrack.
- Once upon a time in Mexico- El Mariachi Tres
- Luther- Old-School religious reformer. He gives this list some character.
- Kill Bill Vol I & II- Tarantino movie number 4. Bloodiest scene in movie history. need I say more?
- Envy- Jack Black and Ben Stiller. I have goosebumps.
- Fletch Won (2004) Epic.
- School of Rock (2004) Jack Black teaching little kids about rock. I’m crying.
- The Chronicles of Riddick (2004) Admit it- You like Vin Deisel.
- Son of the Mask (2004) Jamie Kennedy takes on the Mask Mantle- ha.
- The Punisher (2004) WITHOUT Dolph Lundgren. This movie has much potential.
- King Kong (2004) DIRECTED BY PETER JACKSON- HELLO! Prepare to lose the use of at least one of your senses as a result of how incredibly kick-butt this could be.

This is a great site, and I’m so glad that you wrote such wonderful comments about our Maurice Gibb! Thank you so much! I know he would be so happy that you thought of him in such a kind and loving way!
Love,
Linda

I agree with your choices.
Maurice Gibb will dearly be missed. He was and will always be part of so many lives, both through his music and his lovely sense of humor, which touched so many lives. He had the type of kindness that shone through no matter what. Many will miss him and think of him often.
John Ritter, too, was unique. Silly, ridiculously silly and funny in Three’s Company, and a nice, nice man in person.
May they both rest in peace.

Dear Helen.
It is you that maybe should try and stop being so angry and live a little. What makes you think that you know so much, that you can sit in judgement over the rest of us! We all have the same EQUAL right to be here. A right given to us by GOD!! He and ONLY He can judge us.
I may not agree with you, but I will till my death defend your right to your opinion!
Remember, when you point a finger at others, there are more fingers pointing back at you. Or as we in Britain say: JUDGE NOT OR YOU SHALL BE JUDGED BY THE SAME STANDARDS!!!
To make a long story short: Have your opinion and let us have ours.
WONDERFUL MAURICE EARNEST GIBB said: I do not think, say or do anything negative towards other people. Life is too short for that!!!
On that note FARE WELL HELEN, may you be blessed with a HAPPY LIFE!!!
Regards & God Bless

This may be a silly or intelligent question to some of you, but how the hell does a dead person put out an album? He/she is DEAD! Please enlighten me!
December 30th, 2003 at 12:18 pm
Thank you doesnotmatterto YOU. So what you are saying is that someone else (someone that is alive and kicking) puts together these songs from said dead artists archives and puts the dead artists name on said album. But who gets the money from the sale of said album? We all know that you don’t need money in heaven.
December 30th, 2003 at 12:22 pm
We all know that dead people cannot make an album ok. The fact of the matter is most of the performers have recorded music and have shelved it, because it didn’t fit the album or they decided to use another song. An album was released earlier this year by an artist that has been dead for over 20 years. So don’t think people are crazy to wish for music from these people it can happen.

This tragic year will be over tomorrow and i truely hope that next one would be better.
I still cant believe that our Maurice …..:(((
And John Ritter, oh god he was such a nice guy.I was a great fan of him in Tree’s company.
And Maurice - i cant forget his sense of humour on stage, he was real gentleman, naughty? Yes, but a really nice guy.
God bless their families……..

WOAH! People! Calm doooowwwwnnnn. The poll is supposed to be funny. You know- haha, funny. Make nice, people, cause it gets on my nerves to have to clean up the comments.
December 30th, 2003 at 1:27 pm
Doesnotmatterto YOU
If you feel this way, why are you here. You must have voted for someone also. I think most us are just to see what performer his missed the most. Whether it is through his music or humor. Each person on the list has contributed something to someones life.
December 30th, 2003 at 1:39 pm
Yea, really Kurt Cobain contributed a lot …. to drug dealers.
Ed, I’m having fun. So what if it’s at these peoples expense? Must they get all sappy with thier drivel?
December 30th, 2003 at 1:45 pm
Play nice people.
December 30th, 2003 at 1:49 pm
Yes Ed sire.

Hello~ I have met Maurice Gibb in person and he was a wonderful man, kind and considerate of his fans, also with being a prankster.
His talent was beyond most people in the industry. He will be dearly missed! Also, another shocking death was John Ritter. Also a wonderful talent…his many roles on tv made us feel good inside when the show ended. He will be missed as well. June Carter and Johnny Cash - Country Music will not be the same without them! HEAVEN IS A BETTER PLACE NOW WITH ALL ABOVE - MORE MUSICAL AND COMEDY!

Well Ed (co-owner of this website), in your wildest dreams did you ever think you would come across such crazy fans such as Bee Gees fans?
December 30th, 2003 at 5:52 pm
Crazy or SORRY?
December 30th, 2003 at 5:58 pm
I had no idea.
December 30th, 2003 at 6:12 pm
Ed, it looks like a Maurice has risen to the top (excuse the pun). Got any other good ideas for your next quiz? Want to make it another one with a Bee Gees theme to it? Do you get a payment for each hit on your website? If so, you can make wads of dough if you include Bee Gees in your next quiz. I dare you to ask the question which Bee Gee is the cutest.
December 30th, 2003 at 7:07 pm
Poor Ed.
Him and his site are getting a work out today.
Look at all those Maurice Gibb votes. I wonder how many of these L’s voted more than twice? What a sad bunch. Can’t just vote once, they think the poll REALLY means something lmao fools. But then Kurt Cobain’s fans are all coked up and can’t handle a computer, Jerry Garcia’s are deadheads to begin with, Frank Sinatra’s are all in nursing homes and don’t have net access, Selena’s can’t read English, John Denver’s are still working off their flower power highs and the rest … no one barely even knows.
December 30th, 2003 at 7:16 pm
HE and HIS site.
December 30th, 2003 at 8:19 pm
Details, details.
If some of these people can talk to dead heads (case in point: Mauric we miss you so much) AND not even spell the guy’s name correctly, surely I can use incorrect grammar.
Yo Ed, you’re cramping my style sire by deleting everything I write.
December 30th, 2003 at 8:39 pm

YaGotta LOVE Me!,
For the record, Cobain fans are drinkers now. Coke is so 1995. And it makes me proud to know that while The Bee Gees may have contributed more to your musical world than Nirvana, I will not see Nirvana being satired on a poster on a Chuck E. Chees’s wall anytime soon. And that’s enough to get me to sleep at night.
December 31st, 2003 at 4:16 pm
We’ll miss Maurice Gibb for ever .
He ’s still in our hearts.
No words to see how much he was important
for The BeeGees. Zule.

Ed,
Do you know that this week in the UK,A new single written by Maurice Gibb and his brothers is in the running for top spot in the charts. If it makes it it will be the fifth decade that Maurice Gibb wrote a chat topping song. I think that says everything about his talent.

Richard from Ireland
