My sympathy on your loss. I went through the loss of my grandmother recently, too, and had similar feelings about it. I guess I figured that after 84 long, life-filled years on this planet, it was her time and she was cool with it. If they’re okay with it, how can we *not* be? I think the most important thing is that she knows you loved her so much.

Ed and Heidi,

I’ve lost many people in our family in my short time here on Earth. My heart is with you two. It sounds like she left you a plethora of memories to cherish the rest of your life through. I’d like to recommend posting a dirty joke in honor of her. This way your Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop can share a smile and laught with you.

I’m sorry about your grandmother. She sounds like the best kind of grandmother. You were lucky to have had her around for part of your adult life. And yes, I believe they are together again, and she’s happy there.
