Nigerian Emails go Hi-Tec
Hello! I opened my inbox today and what do I find- the newest in Nigerian email scams. In what seems to be the newest incarnation, they have set up an internet site filled with “credentials” in order to gain your confidence. She must have learned a lot at the Nigerian email conference. Will it ever end? In case you haven’t received one of these little gems, they are a major scam. Someone posing as a government official/widow/religious organization contacts you in order to deposit a “large sum” into your bank account because out of all the people in the world they heard you were really trustworthy. Only thing they need is your handy dandy bank account number and whoosh! You’re rolling in mountains of dough. What? I’m crazy to pass up such a chance? Perhaps.
